Ukrainian, Israeli drone companies appeal to South Korean military amid war

Date:

BUSAN, South Korea — “In use in the war in Ukraine,” read the sign on Skyeton’s ACS-3, a gray, birdlike drone on display at the recent Drone Show Korea in Busan, where companies were keen to talk up the battlefield capabilities of their latest offerings.

Lee Ki-ho, a sales agent for the Ukrainian company, said the surveillance and suicide drone had proved effective in the war against Russia, having logged more than 300,000 hours of flight. The company is looking to make a pitch to the South Korean military.
