Jadon Sancho was given a start in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen in the Conference League.
The United winger has struggled for form lately and there have even been rumours that Chelsea may look to get out of their agreement to buy the English winger in the summer.
The 24 year old has not scored or assisted a goal for the Blues since the 4th of January against Crystal Palace.
Nonetheless, he did put in an improved showing at the weekend as Chelsea beat Leicester City 1-0 in the Premier League.
He was given a rating of 6.7 by Sofascore for his evening’s work last night as Chelsea made it into the quarter-finals of the Conference League.
Sancho played 65 minutes before being subbed off and had one shot on target in the match.
He had 33 touches of the ball and completed 89% of his passes as he kept it ticking over well.
The England international was also not frightened to take on the Danish defence as he completed four out of his seven dribble attempts.
He helped out defensively too as he won four out of a contested nine ground duels.
His only other defensive action was a clearance as he helped his side keep a vital clean sheet.
Sancho was replaced by Christopher Nkunku for the final 25 minutes of action as his side saw out the crucial victory.
They will now face Legia Warszawa in the quarter-finals stage of the competition.
Sancho will be hoping that his night’s work will be enough to earn another start when the Blues travel to Arsenal in a crunch battle for the Champions League spots this Sunday afternoon.
