Dalton proposes SBI’s Kitao to be on Fuji Media Board

TOKYO — Dalton Investments, a U.S. activist shareholder, will submit a shareholder proposal to Fuji Media Holdings on June 14, proposing SBI Holdings Chairman and President Yoshitaka Kitao as a candidate for director at the company’s annual shareholders meeting to be held late that month.

This will further increase the pressure on Fuji Media from investors to improve its management.
