GoTo’s loss narrows to $334m in 2024 as fintech business rises

JAKARTA — Indonesian super app provider GoTo on Wednesday reported a net loss of 5.5 trillion rupiah ($334 million) for the full year of 2024, narrowing 94% from the year earlier, on the back of its rapidly expanding digital financial business.

The company’s share price also rebounded on Wednesday after a two-day losing streak following Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s order for ride-hailing companies to pay a holiday bonus to hundreds of thousands of drivers and couriers.
