Date:

CHENNAI — Japanese utility Osaka Gas has made inroads into India, one of the hardest markets for foreign multinationals to crack, and is branching out into new fields like renewable energy.

In the southern city of Chennai, the company also known as Daigas Group is involved in laying a 100-kilometer gas pipeline that will power industrial zones and homes –just one of its projects in the world’s most populous country.
