Space station startup aims for out-of-this-world drug ‘factories’

TOKYO — A host of U.S. startups are betting on commercial space stations as a new frontier for business, and they expect to find eager partners in Japan and the Middle East.

The CEO of one such company, Vast, was in Tokyo last month looking for potential investors and customers.
