TOKYO — Japanese beverage maker Suntory Holdings turns its focus on the Southeast Asian alcohol market under a new president, part of the company’s efforts to reach 4 trillion yen ($26.7 billion) in groupwide global sales by 2030.
Nobuhiro Torii, a member of the founding family, became president at the regular shareholders meeting on Tuesday. Torii will oversee overall management, both domestically and overseas. Former President Takeshi Niinami, now a chairman with representative authority, also will be involved in the overseas business.
