BANGKOK — Thailand’s Minor International, the biggest hotel operator in Southeast Asia, is setting its sights on expansion in Japan and the U.S. as part of a global push.
Minor boasts roughly 560 hotels across 58 countries and regions. The plans is to increase the number to 1,000 by 2029, up 78%. As hotel demand is expected to run its course in Southeast Asia, Minor seeks to expand into other markets by highlighting its Asian-style offerings.
