Toyota to launch 15 zero-emission vehicles in Europe by next year

FRANKFURT, Germany — Toyota Motor will launch 15 zero-emission vehicles, including six electric vehicles, in Europe by next year even as it scales back global EV sales goal due to stalling demand.

“EVs are increasingly being accepted as a part of life in Europe,” Yoshihiro Nakata, president and CEO of Toyota Motor Europe, said at an event in Brussels last week to promote the new EVs.
