Vietnam PM urges tech giants Nvidia, Meta and Google to invest

TOKYO — Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Friday urged global tech giants like Nvidia, Meta and Google to invest in the country and help shape the nation’s policies as it aims to gain a stronger footing in the global technology supply chain.

The Southeast Asian country held its first AI-Semiconductor Conference, which attracted 1,000 delegates and global tech companies, for three days in Hanoi.
