TOKYO — Asian economies are set to use imports of U.S. energy resources as leverage in negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump to persuade him to back down from his hefty “reciprocal” tariffs, but concessions in other areas like automobiles and agriculture could prove harder, observers say.
